This July from the 11th to the 14th, PowerHockey Toronto will be hosting the 2019 PowerHockey Canada Cup at Humber College. We are not only excited to be hosting this inaugural PowerHockey Canada-sanctioned tournament, but also that we get to compete as the recently-announced Toronto Toros!

Tryouts for the Toros were held on January 18th with 22 players vying for a spot on the 12-player roster. The coaching staff had some very tough decisions to make and had the following to statement:

Thank you to all players who came out to tryout for the Toronto Toros. The roster decision was very difficult to make and that’s attributable to the depth of talent our league has. At the end of the day we are all Toros, whether we have a jersey on or are cheering on the sidelines, we all play our role to prepare the team for success and to compete to the best of their ability each game. Let’s all cheer on our Toronto Toros this July as they compete at the 2019 PowerHockey Canada Cup!

Their tough decisions have put together what is expected to be a Cup contender. The 12 players and coaching staff that will represent our league this summer are:
